We offer you, our next Machine Learning Operations Engineer, a cutting-edge technical playground with the latest technologies you need to accelerate the development of machine learning models running on top of our innovative, state-of-the-art transaction monitoring platform. A must-have to create the most effective detection and new insights, that will help banks, public sector and law enforcement to collectively defeat financial crime. 


The MLOps team at TMNL is a platform team whose users are internal model developers (Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers). Our mission is to make the development, deployment and operations of machine learning models secure, effective and efficient. We’re an international bunch of engineers from all around the world, with different backgrounds, from Cloud Engineering to Software Engineering and all the way to Data Science. Your daily activities at TMNL include: 

  • Build a secure, highly-compliant and world-wide unique ML Platform for developing, deploying and operating models at scale  
  • Develop reliable, scalable and performant CI/CD pipeline for model pipelines 
  • Develop best-in-class model and data lineage solutions that make even complex ML pipelines meticulously reproducible 
  • Conceptualize and implement sophisticated model observability and controllability solutions
  • Interface with our users - Data Scientists, MLEs - as well as our Data and Cloud Engineering teams 
  • Ensure high-quality and scalable Data Science efforts by developing our feature store and our data profiler
  • Combine managed solutions, customizations and open source tools to help us build a platform that meets our special requirements 
  • Build user-facing abstraction layers that make using our platform pure joy for model developers 
  • Work together with AWS experts to push the boundaries of what’s out there 

Job requirements

Job requirements 

You are a Machine Learning Engineer with a proven track record in building infrastructure for model development. Also, you love to work at the interface of infrastructure and machine learning. And, as a Cloud Engineer, you understand the data science lifecycle and knows what’s needed to supercharge it. Furthermore you have experience with: 

  • Python 
  • AWS (SageMaker, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, Lambda, EventBridge) 
  • Terraform
  • Docker 
  • Experience with implementing production-grade CICD pipelines for data processing or model pipelines 
  • Experience with architecting complex, data-intensive, cloud-native (ideally AWS) solutions 
  • You live in NL of EU

Not required at all, but nice –to have: 

  • Apache Spark 
  • GitHub Actions 
  • Knowledge of/experience with MLOps principles and tools (model & data lineage, observability, feature stores, model registries…) 
  • Experience in the financial industry
