As our new Cloud Engineer, you will manage, configure, and harden an entire multi-account AWS environment. We offer you a complex technical context with all the latest technologies you need to create and accelerate our innovative, state-of-the-art transaction monitoring platform. A must-have to create the most effective detection and new insights, that will help banks, public sector, and law enforcement to collectively fight financial crime. Your responsibilities:

  • Deploying, configuring and scaling AWS services such as EKS, RDS, Sagemaker, Glue, Lake Formation
  • Containerisation and Kubernetes, with a focus on container security
  • Networking (VPC, Route53, Client VPN)
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform / Terragrunt)
  • CI/CD tools and DevSecOps workflows (GitHub, Azure DevOps, DataDog, Okta, etc)
  • Encryption, key and secret management (Cloud HSM, KMS, etc). Implementation of security capabilities like security monitoring and vulnerability management on AWS (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, Detective, etc

Job requirements

  • Strong experience (> 3 years) in building platforms in AWS
  • 5 years of experience in working in the cloud
  • We really ask AWS experience (as opposed to other public cloud experience)
  • A passion for the cloud and solid technical knowledge in multiple areas such as networking, security, containerization, data management and DevSecOps
  • Proven experience in working with new cloud native developments and features and experienced in implementing the new solutions to continually improve the platform/workflow
  • A desire to dive into the source code of any tool to learn how it works
  • Associate Certification in AWS
  • Currently living in the Netherlands
